I don't have a 3D Model. Can you help create one?
Yes, There You Have It is a full-service studio, providing a range of concept through design services. We employ and work directly with some of the largest talents in the film and entertainment industry. Digital artists range from mechanical engineers and technical designers, to concept illustrators, 3d scan technicians and organic life sculptors. One note about digital work: We often don't take that on in isolation. Our production pipeline is digital-heavy. Which means the rest of the studio depends on work flowing downstream from our digital dept. As a result we often refuse design work for production outside our facilities.
What file formats do you accept?
The following formats are great for 3D Assets: STL, OBJ, FBX, 3DM, STEP, IGES, or 3mf. We also work with a range of software that we might be able to accept native files from. Applications include most modeling softwares but exclude a lot of VFX assets. Those are generally not created with physical production in mind.
What finishes are available for produced parts?
TYHI is a full fabrication house that can provide a range of finishing options, depending on the scope and budget for the project. Services can begin with simple dye or smoothing options for MJF parts, to auto body and scenic paint work, to advanced processes like cast or plated precious metals. Many sample finishes are available for review in-person at our studio. Our staff are here to help point you in the best direction.
I have a product I want to develop. Can TYHI help me?
Techinically, yes. But practically--in most cases--we'll likely recommend not. TYHI is a multi-faceted production studio primarily built around serving the demanding pace of the Entertainment Industry. As a result, time for our Union craftspeople can come at a premium compared to the slower pace of product development houses.
There You Have It is Union? Why union?
TYHI is a IATSE Union signatory in California and employs a range of specialty craftspeople across a number of union crafts in the Entertainment Industry. It's our belief that providing employees with access to union benefits like pension and healthcare, fosters the best creative environment to deliver the results clients are after. That said, TYHI is open to all customers in all industries. Clients include Medical Providors, Commercial Industry and Independent Artists of all stripes. We're dedicated to delivering on the best of our industry and providing the timely service that can't be found elsewhere.
Can you provide pictures or footage of our part being made?
TYHI is unable to assist with production media. Our studio is a minefield of NDAs and the concurrent work on hand makes it impossible to document any project without putting others'--or your--work at risk. Our crew is the best at what they do, but need the time and space to work appropriately to meet commitments without worrying about content production. We apologise in advance.
